Hybrid Fiber Radio Technology Pharad is developing new enabling technologies for the realization of next generation wireless communications integrated with optical networks. Our RF/Photonic transceiver products provide very wideband, highly linear hybrid fiber radio capability that enable the fiber-optic remoting of radio signals up to 20 GHz via a single transceiver module. In addition to the development of high performance photonic links, Pharad is developing optimal network architectures that will realize the cost-effective delivery of radio signals over fiber, and new technologies for device integration at the antenna base-station.
